What is Awana?

Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Jason and Charity Grahame, AWANA Commanders

The AWANA program is a structured program that includes Bible teaching, scripture memorization, game time and many fun activities throughout the school year! Last year, clubbers participated in the AWANA Games, March Madness, Grand Prix, the AWANA Carnival, the AWANA Christmas Store, Bible Quiz, food nights, dress up nights and more.

Children ages from 3 years old through the 6 th grade can participate. AWANA starts at 6:45 PM and lasts until 8:30 PM on Wednesday nights.

The AWANA ministry is active on Wednesday evenings from September through May. The emphasis of AWANA is the memorization of God's Word as a primary means of a child growing in his/her relationship with God.
